Stevenson Memorial Hospital Accreditation Results
[ALLISTON, ONTARIO]—Stevenson Memorial Hospital (SMH) is proud to announce that on December 8, 2016 it received Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada.
“The Accreditation Decision Committee is pleased to inform you that Stevenson Memorial Hospital is Accredited with Exemplary Standing under the Qmentum accreditation program. This is a milestone to be celebrated, and we congratulate you and your team for your commitment to providing safe, high quality health services.”
In early December, two surveyors from Accreditation Canada thoroughly assessed all aspects of SMH’s operations and measured them against national standards of excellence. Of the standards assessed, SMH impressively met 1782 of them – 18 were not met and 51 were not applicable to the hospital. SMH met 100 percent of the required organizational practices.
“The awarding of Exemplary Standing reflects the excellence and dedication of our staff, physicians and volunteers,” says Jody Levac, President and CEO. “I would like to congratulate everyone at SMH for their commitment and effort to achieve this wonderful accomplishment.”
