Laboratory Services

The Laboratory Services department at Stevenson Memorial Hospital is committed to providing excellence in patient care services. This is achieved via 24/7 operation with a dedicated team of trained healthcare professionals, which includes: Medical Laboratory Technologists, Medical Laboratory Assistants, and consulting Pathologists.

Laboratory professionals (primarily assistants) collect and process specimens for in-house and referred out testing, and technologists provide diagnostic analysis and result interpretation using specialized state-of-the-art equipment and gold standard technologies. With oversight by the lab’s Medical Director, the team ensures the timely delivery of quality results to support clinician diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of patient conditions.

• Cardiac Clinic - Holter Monitoring

Note: Outpatient blood collection services are not available at Stevenson Memorial Hospital.

Hours of Operation

The core Laboratory operates 24/7 with reduced staffing from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., and weekends and holidays.
